Overview

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) Embedded Workers program provides immediate assistance for people experiencing domestic and family violence when they attend Beaudesert or Jimboomba Police Stations.

Domestic and Family Violence Practitioners work alongside police to help you feel safe, heard, and supported. We help all victim-survivors no matter your age or gender.

We can help you create a safety plan and identify your social, emotional, physical, health, financial, legal, cultural, and linguistic needs. We can also connect you to other services for ongoing assistance

As well as supporting victim-survivors, we work with police to apply best‑practice approaches to domestic and family violence and to improve integration and responses.
