Overview

Project Hera offers fast, practical support to victim-survivors of domestic and family violence in Logan and the Scenic Rim area.

We are based at Beenleigh Police Station, and work alongside the Queensland Police Service’s Logan Domestic, Family Violence and Vulnerable Persons Unit.

Project Hera supports all victim-survivors, no matter your age or gender. We offer a safe space to talk about what you’re going through and can help you to:

  • explore ways to increase your safety
  • identify your social, emotional, physical, health, financial, legal, cultural and linguistic needs
  • find information about and referrals to support pathways to safety
  • access practical support as required.

Your safety and wellbeing is our priority. We support your right to make choices about what happens next.

What to expect

Referrals to Project Hera come through the Queensland Police Service.

Once we receive a referral, a worker will contact you as soon as possible to understand your situation, explore your needs, and hear about any safety concerns you have.

We work with most people for up to three months. If more time is needed to support your safety or next steps, we can stay connected for longer.

Information for partners and referrers

Victim-survivors can be referred to the service by the Queensland Police Service (QPS) Logan Domestic Family Violence and Vulnerable Persons Unit.
